Post by blackstreak » Thu Oct 01, 2015 10:44 am

Hi there,

I am currently having ILR for 6 years and 8 months, ILR was granted on the basis of Marriage to British citizen,
however after 6 months of obtaining it British husband died, should I have notified Home Office straight away about the circumstances or its ok to inform them now when applying for Naturalization.

thanks

No, you have ILR and are free from immigration restrictions. You should be fine, just answer the form AN honestly.
