ILR - applicant working and financially active means

Post by mohd2010 » Tue Mar 02, 2010 6:36 pm

I am on Tier 1 (General) and would like to ask the following questions before I apply for ILR in future (in another 2 years) ( sorry planning in advance)

1. I am working throught Limited company. Earlier I did not work for one year due to recession. Does this affect in future while applying for ILR that i was jobless for that one year in the period of 5 years prior to applying for ILR?

2. For my business I pay taxes to HMRC yearly. If I apply for Tax claims from HMRC for that 1 year jobless period with no business, does it affect in ILR indicating that i was not working. But i had enough funds to live in UK during that whole period.

I dont want myself to come into any issues later. So I want to keep in mind before I apply for Tax claims from HMRC for that loss of business.

I need your help me in this regards please.
Thanks all
