ILR -application & driving conviction

I am due to apply for IRL on 10 yr rule in Dec,however i was stopped by police 2 yrs ago because my insurance was cancelled without my knowlege and hence charged with driving with no insurance.
my question will this have an effect on my application for ILR? :?: :?: :?: :?:

If you were fined through the court, then yes. 5 years for the offence to be 'spent'.

driving without insurance is a criminal offense and police take it very seriously as it can seriously destroy lives.

you will have to spend time before you can apply for normalization me thinks.
