ILR Application Help Please

Post by akira123 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 12:41 pm

Hello all,

good day to you all.

hope if anyone has come acrossed similar situation or offer me any suggestions please.

Im applying for my ILR in two weeks time in person (Birmingham PEO) based on the 10 years lawful residences. Unfortunatley, my old/previous passport was stolen (a house break-in in a few years ago). (my passport covers Dec 1999 to JUl 2003)

By reading the guidances and home office website, im going to take the following documents with me for covering that period:

1. Original Police Report for lost passport
2. All the orginal letters (old colleage attendence letters etc) confirming my continous residences cover that period.
3. Copy of the lost passport
4. list of the absences outside the UK

Anyone thinks its going to be alrite for my applicaiton??? or any other documents I shall take with me?(im basiclly going to take everything-all the old phone bills, some of old bank statements and anything i could find cover that periods with me)

I ordered my SAR file (10 years record) in the early June, 10 pounds has been cleared, but 4 months later, i still have not yet received anything yet. I have written and faxed them, but still no news. Anyone knows how i could accelerate them??

will be much much much appreciated if anyone has any thoughts/opinions please?

thank you very much all.

:D :D

A lost passport may make the application too complex for the PEO.
