ILR application at PEO / Naturalization - timeline

Post by Saberz » Sat Oct 01, 2011 10:46 pm

Hello,

If I arrived to the UK on 10-March-2007, what is the earliest date I can apply for the ILR?

If I just subtract 28 days from 10-March-2012, then I get 11-February-2012 as the earliest day. Is this correct or would I be safer applying 1 day later, e.g. 12-February-2012?

Also, for the subsequent naturalization application, if I apply and get my ILR documents on the same day, e.g. 11-February-2012, does this mean that I can apply for the naturalization on 11-February-2013?

Thank you

1. See FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 1/Tier 2/HSMP holders
2. You may apply for naturalisation as and when you fulfil the standard requirements specified at the time.
