Great, thank you for confirming. We'll just need to wait. Aside from working as skilled worker for two firms her application is as straight forward as it comes (and that isnt complicated) but who knows when these things are being reviewed... She's received no notificaiton about it being complicated or additional checks being needed.
If she hasn't found out by this evening, the end of the stated 'usual' time for super priority, we'll need to explore how to pull her ILR application (would we get ILR fee and/or super priority fee back?) and have her new employer set up a skilled worker visa for her. They offered, but she figured was pointless given she is able to get ILR.
She needs to quit her current job immediately, (toxic work enviroment) but cant do so until ILR is granted as I imagine would invalidate the letter from her current employer (or does that matter?).
Is there some mechanism by which she could quit her current job with the ILR app still pending? She does have a signed work agreement with the new company and agreed start date at the end of her current job's leave notice. So if there is some way she can tell her current employer to get lost now it would be wonderful. We dont have the luxury of waiting around for an ILR decision foreve due to her work situation as well as we have existing travel plans at the end of next week to see family abroad (cant travel with an open ILR application) which is why we had optimistically figured super priority was the way to go here.
Again, all help always appreciated.
