ILR APPROVED BUT BRP NOT RECIVED - CAN I TRAVEL

Dear learned members..
I have applied for my ILR from Tier 2 (General) -5 years route on 28th June and it has been approved the next day.. my existing BRP is valid till 11th July ..
I have an emergency in India and want to travel on 3rd July and Re-Enter UK on 8th July.

Can anyone clarify if Iam able to do this.. Iam sure my wife can collect my BRP on my behalf before I come back..
Please help me with your advice , so I can book my tickets to fly tommorow.

You can leave the UK but you MUST return with your new BRP. Your old BRP is not valid anymore and is cancelled
As long as your wife collects the new BRP and sends it to you to travel back, you should be fine
