ILR Approved at Croydon @ 05th Dec

Hi Guys,

Many Thanks to all for responding to queries and giving information. This forum has been a great help. Got my ILR approved today and BRP will come in a weeks time. Here's how it happened :

1) Reached East Croydon at 8:30 for appointment at 09:10 am
2) After passing through Airport type screening, entered and straight went to 3rd floor and gave my appointment payment sheet.
3) Soon called for Case registration. Lady at the desk was very nice and gave me a folder to put my documents. Then was asked to wait for Biometric
4) Called for Biometric and that guy kept all my documents and asked to wait and come back after 60-90 mins
5) I waited in Cafeteria. Waited, waited,waited and finally was called after almost 3 hours ( started getting worried after 2 hours) and case worker gave me the letter and said your application is approved.

I have been to Croydon twice now and both times my experience has been good, not only because it went in my favour but also because they were professional in their approach.

Also, My wife is on Tier 1 Dependent visa valid till Feb 2015 and i asked guy at Customer service desk if i have to do anything for my wife's visa. He said you don't have to do anything now but apply for extension using PBS Dependant form before her visa expires. So, i am not going to do anything for her visa now and will apply for extension in Jan 2015.
