WP to ILR between jobs

Hi, I have been on WP for 5 years and was about to apply for a IDLR. However I will be joining a new organisation in this process. So I am in a situation that there is a week that I will be leaving my old organisation and joining the new organisation.
Whats the best way to manage this ? Pl advice ?
