ILR BRP Card Renewal Duplicate Applications

I have settlement since 2013 and my BRP card has expired. I submitted an application for renewal in May. Then I realised that I made a minor mistake on the form so I immediately submitted another application on the same day WITHOUT withdrawing the old one... I didn't withdraw because I thought the old one would expire if I don't book any biometric appointment. I have attended the appointment for the new application.

Now I see that it is not legal to have 2 applications at the same time... I am so worrried. Will the two active applications cause issues? Will it impact my new renewal application? How can I withdraw my old one?

I would really appreciate if someone could share their experience or give some advise. Thank you!

An application for BRP replacement is not a visa application. If you don’t attend the biometrics appointment then the application won’t be processed. Not sure where the legal concern comes from.
