ILR - can I leave UK and come back

ILR - can I leave UK and come back

Hi,
Can somebody please help me with this. If I get ILR, can I leave UK and come back every year/ every 2 years for 1-2 months to do summer job? I think when you come back you have to show some evidence that you are coming back for settlement and not short term, but I am not very clear on this.

Thanks vinay it appears that one can come back once more but it would be a problem to do it again and again.
