ILR -cont WP/Tier 2 for 5 yrs but was refused Tier 1-Help

Post by amibag » Thu Dec 01, 2011 8:13 pm

Hello there,

I came to UK on 6th Feb 2007 on WP and since then have had 2 extensions under Tier 2 which my company sponsored. In 2009, I had applied for Tier 1/HSMP on my own which was refused because I had a dip below the required GBP 1600 once within the last 3 months below applying. This refusal of Tier 1 never affected my Tier 2 extension.

Now I am keen to apply for ILR in Jan end and have all documents which are required for the application. But am very worried, whether the Tier 1 refusal may affect the outcome of my ILR application. Please advice what should I do. Should I do it in person in the PEO or hire a Solicitor. Your advice here will be much appreciated
