ILR continuous period- ICT

Hello All,

I have a query on continuos period in the UK for ILR.

I came to UK before 6th April 2010 but left back to work for the same company in india as they required me to work offshore.
I reentered UK in March 2011(less than 180 days outside the country) but my orginal visa expired in feb and gap betwen first and second visa was more than 28 days.
I couldn apply for my visa in time because my mother met with serious accident and there was no one else to take care of her to recover.

Since then i have always been in UK and never gone back.

Please suggest if i can apply for ILR on compassionate grounds and what it needed if yes.
