ILR Dependant Qurey

I would like to know that I currently on Tier 1 (General) from almost last 3 years and was on WP 2 years before therefore I will be completing my 5 years in combination of WP & Tier 1 in 2 months time. Between that 5 years time I got married and had a 3 years old daughter. I have following questions would like anyone who have the knowledge of either the similar case or knowledge of immigration laws can kindly please help,

1. My wife is also on the similar dependant visa and we are married since August 2008 and living in UK, however between 2008 till now she has two absence from the country one was for approximately 9 months and the other was 3 months, the 9 months was to complete her study and the 3 months is because of the brother wedding now when we apply for ILR together will that absence cause any troubles? Do we need to provide the evidence to verify the reasons for her absence?

2. Is it required to for successful ILR application that we show our marriage as genuine therefore we have to produce the utility bills under our names, however we only have the joint bank accounts under our name therefore please confirm should I make her the account holder of the utility bills or it has to be the joint account.
