ILR eligibility for my wife

Post by nadeemshafiq » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:18 pm

Hi,

I am eligible for ILR through WP, HSMP and Tier 1 route.

My wife came to UK as HSMP Dependent in February 2010 and switched to Tier 1 General dependent when my visa was renewed in March 2010.

At the time of visa renewal, our immigration lawyer said she would be eligible for ILR at the same time as me.

Having looked through various forums it appears she isn't as she has not completed 2 years. I cannot get hold of the lawyer to double check this.

Can any experienced member confirm if she is eligible for ILR or not (probably because she came to UK as HSMP dependent)?

I have an appointment at PEO Glasgow for 23rd and this is the only outstanding issue.

Many thanks for reading this and if you have any questions, please ask.
