ILR Eligibility on Tier 2 General and dependant visas

Post by jkcool » Wed May 07, 2014 1:08 pm

Hi ,

I have a question on the eligibility for ILR. Currently I am on Tier 2 General ( from Dec 2012) and after working for 2 years. If I switch to Tier 2 General dependant ( from Dec 2014) and then work for another 3 years, then will I be able apply for ILR in Dec 2017 ?

Or if I switch to Tier 2 General dependent , the 5 years is counted from the date I made the switch ?
