ILR FOR CHILD ADVICE PLEASE !!!

I am on HSMP VISA for 4 years and I am planning to apply for ILR in Sep,2009. My wife and child are on HSMP dependant visa.
I have a 18 month old child who was born in u.k but then went to stay with his grandparents in India for 10 months. He is back in u.k now .

I wonder whether it would be any problem when I apply for ILR as he was outside u.k for more than 3 months. My wife was in u.k throughout.

Is this rule( should not be outside u.k for more than 3 month) applicable to the Primary applicant (that is me ) OR also to any of my dependant's including my child ?

Shouldn't be a problem, in any case once you have ILR then UK born child can be registered as a British citizen (whether or not child also has ILR).
