ILR for childern over 18 dependent of Tier 1 (General)

Post by khan10200 » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:26 pm

Hi,

I am currently in the UK under the Tier-1 (General) category. In near future I am going to complete 5 years composed of Tier-1 (General) + HSMP. (HSMP Judicial review does not apply to me). Now I have to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).

1. I have a son and a daughter over 18 years old. The form Set(O) specifies that childern over 18 should apply separately. I am wondering what application form I will be using for them. The form Set(F) specifies the family members of already settled in the UK. I am not already setteled in the UK but I am applying at the same time with them. Then the fee for SET(F) is twice as much as mine, so it sounds illogical for them to use SET(F). What form will they be using.

2. The rules specify that the children over 18 must demonstrate that they are not married, not started independent life. I am wondering what evidence should be provided to demonstrate this.

Expert advice. Particularly from those who have got ILR with the similar situation.

Kind regards
