ILR FOR SPOUSE

Post by aravind33 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 9:18 am

Hi,
Please can anyone advice on below?

My wife's Initial entry clearance granted on 30/05/2012 based on Tier 1 dependant - but entry into the U.K on 14/06/2012

my wife applied for FLR(M) 26/11/2012 and granted, current status is On FLR(M) valid until 26/11/2014

My status is Citizen.

Please can you advice what form should my wife complete and when likely can she make an appointment for premium service?

Your advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks and regards,
Aravind

From 28 days before 14/06/2014 by virtue of rule 287(a)(i)(d) on form SET(M). B1 English and LIUK required.

Hi,
Just a quick check on the above

My wife was granted entry clearance on 31/05/2012, but the actual date entered into the UK was on 14/06/2012. She was away from 18/06/2012 till 18/08/2012 due to ties with work place at USA.

When my wife applied for FLR (M) in Nov 2012, my wife previous address history & living together was stated as follows below

UK address from 19/08/2012 (Should this have been 14/06/2012?)- We stated that we started to living together from 19/08/2012 on the FLR (M) application

USA address till 18/08/2012

How does the case officer look at the above for cohabitation? Do we need to prove that the 2 years eligibility for both, living+entry into the UK & cohabitation or is just for the settlement purpose? Please advice

Thanks,
Aravind

Absences less than 6 months don't need declaring on SET(M).

Cohabitation proof should be one joint letter or a letter each (to the same address) for every 4 months of the last 2 years, from a total of at least 3 different sources.

Thanks Amber. I have all the utilities bill in joint name only from 18/08/2012, even though my wife came into the UK on 14/06/2012 and stayed with me until 18/06/2012 I do not have bills in joint name for the period 14/06/2012-17/08/2012. When you mentioned 4 months period (June '12-Aug '12) I have only one bill-council tax bill issued for the period 18/08/2012-31/03/2013, would this be enough? all other bills are consistent as proof for cohabitation. its just the period 14/06/2012-17/06/2012 that we are short of, any recommendation?

Will it be ok to make an application considering the above or should I wait until 19/08/2012? please advice

Kind regards,
Aravind

If you're only missing 2 months, that should be ok.
