Good Day All,
After a few discussions on this site
(http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 035#304035)
and some research, I did manage to get my ILR!
Background:
WP for 4.8 years, then made redundant
Had Tier 1 general based on MBA Transitional arrangements
Opened PLC about 10 days ago (refer to link for docs I had)
Solid Financial earnings for both wife and myself for most of the period.
Wife still employed.
Had a daughter on the aplication as dependent.
Docs provided:
All 3 passports (main plus two dependents)
Last 6 months savings account with a substantial amount.
Last 3 payslips (the caseworker handed back the previous payslips and P60's)
PLC formation papers
Business account opening details
An active contract with an american firm for my newly formed co.
(No accountant summary or math provided on the turnover or the accounts as the company was too young to show any movements)
Arrived at 9.10 am
Paid fees at 9.30 am
Called for interview at 9.38am
Took the above docs, and returned all other docs like mortgage papers, wife's earning proof, old p60 etc etc.
No questions asked, just insected the docs for almost 20 mins while I sat there.
At 9.55am told to go away from the seat while he runs security checks in the next 30 mins.
At 10.45 called us to the desk and told us we had cleared all security checks. Okay for ILR, to cllect the passport in an hour.
At 12.10, collected stamped passport.
Hope this explains it all. In my view the one thing immigration office is interested in looking at how genuine your case is, in terms of a plc formed.
Thanks to all who contributed in anwers to the discussion link above.
regards
vR
