ILR help needed

I need your help and guidance
I arrived in the UK in Nov 2008 on Work permit( entry clearance). I was issued Work permit for 4 years from Nov 2008 - Nov 2012. Unfortunately, I couldn't start working due to personal reasons . I was unemployed and didn't work anywhere else as my work permit was employer specific. I got a new job in Aug 2009 and got a 2 year work permit from Aug 2009- Aug 2011.
I started working from Sept 2009 and in Aug 2010 got converted to Tier 1 (PBS) visa .I have been self employed since Aug 2010.
I got Tier 1 visa from Aug 2010- Aug 2012 and a renewed Tier 1 visa until Aug 2015. I complete 5 years of work in Sept 2014.I have paid the required taxes from Sept 2009 and have got all documentation from my accountant until April 2014.
I would like to know, for ILR, whether the home office takes into consideration the date one submits the application for ILR or is it 5 years from the date of first entry clearance?
When is the earliest I can apply for ILR given that I started working from Sept 2009 ? - July/Aug 2014?
Can some one please advise if i would have any problems for the 2008/9 period if I apply for ILR now

Your 5 years start from your first entry clearance date. I believe there is no issues in your application.. you can apply for ILR provided you have fulfill other requirements
