ILR Income threshold

Post by devmanda1ia » Mon May 30, 2011 6:27 pm

Hi members,

I am really struggling to understand if I am meeting the income criteria. I am on a work permit as a Quality Assurance manager (customer care sector mainly managing quality processes around monitoring of call sales quality and driving improvements in the processes).

I have looked through SOC/C0P on the UKBA website but can't not find any job title that I can benchmark against. Can anyone please be more specific and advise mini salary threshold for my kind of Job title?

Thanks,

Dev

I believe you should choose the job designation that most closely matches or describes your job. It doesn't have to be an exact match.

Be careful though and make sure that your employer fills in your job designation in the CoS such that it reflects whatever job designation you have chosen in the Code of Practice. If your job title doesn't have an exact match in any classification, don't leave it to the UKBA caseworker to decide which one best describes your job. I am giving you advise based on experience.

Cheers
