ILR- long residence- a period where applied for a visa but no decision made for 5 months

Post by Kevyserim » Wed Mar 15, 2023 12:02 am

Hi everyone,
I am in the process of applying for ILR from long term residence route.
I have a period where I applied for a visa, however the decision is not made for 5 months (despite I have applied for premium service). In that period, I was legal in the country (as my application was submitted) but home office took their time to make a decision hence I do not have BRP covering this period.
Does this period negatively impact my ILR application? I am going with long residence route.
Many thanks for your help in advance.
Regards

That period is lawful stay under section 3C. There is nothing to worry
