H Sir
I am completing my 10 years of uk residency in 11.09.2011. I first entered in UK on 12.09.2001. In the First seven years my status was student while on 15th September 2008 I got Tier one VISA. I have my wife here in UK . She arrived in UK in 26.08.2006.. She was granted visa last time as my dependant and her visa expiring on 15.09.2011 as well. We had baby last year i.e 17.12.2010 , born in UK.
I want apply for ILR on Long residency basis , while my my baby and wife will apply visa as my dependant.(My wife has been my dependant throughout her stay in UK).
Now , should I extent my Tier 1 visa first and then go for ILR or straight away aply for ILR as my current visa is expiring three days after my 10 years are completing .What about my dependant. I know dependant , How I should apply for them. Should I show a good amount of income to justify my Tier 1 status in last three years or this gonna be a simple long residency case?
I will be highly thankful for your sooner response.
