A quick question:
We applied for ILR (SET M) recently but were not sure how the outcome is communicated. Do we get notified by email, post or the e-visa gets automatically updated ?
Thanks

You are told via an email. A standard service ILR application can take between 8 weeks to 6 months, after you enrol your biometrics

I know that comunication is by email. However, there is one box where the applicant can chose that they are not reachable by email, and the solictor has chosen this option and kept only his email.

Then they will send any notifications to them

Thanks for the reply. The things is we have not received an acknowledgment email from UKVI, just from TLS saying we attended biometrics. When we tracked the application on TLS website is says attended biometric but it doesn’t say application transferred to HO. Should we follow up?

No acknowledgement email is sent. Just wait to hear back

Thanks Zimba. The acknowledgment email from UKVI came in 5 weeks after the biometric, then a day or two later the outcome email.
