ILR as PBS dependent

Post by ssw3 » Sun Apr 20, 2014 10:06 pm

Hi all,

I have a question, which may be silly, but is causing some questions for my partner and myself.

Immigration history:
My partner and I have been in the UK since 2008. My partner obtained a Tier 2 (General) visa and me a PBS dependent visa from this in October 2009. We will both qualify for ILR in October 2014, i.e. Have passed all relevant tests and meet all other criteria.

All information available indicates we can apply for ILR using Set (O) form, but I apply as his dependent. My question is whether my visa/biometric permit will state "dependent of xxx". If so, would it be best for me to apply using my own application form as I qualify for ILR in my own right?

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You apply together on SET(O). B1 English and LIUK required.
