ILR possible for wife?

Dear all,

I need your help to check if my wife can be eligible to apply for ILR now.
she arrived in the UK seven years ago and we have been married since. she is currently on refugee status until 2018. i am a british citizen since 2015.

is there a way she can apply for ilr now? i checked the 5 year route which asks about some financial requirements (wife is receiving Carer's allowance since 2014) we also get child tax credits. i find the rules very complicated.

Any help is gratefully received.

She may acquire ILR after 2018.
