ILR Public enquiry offices ..Just a query!

Post by Sean7398 » Sun Feb 07, 2010 7:12 pm

HI. I am planning my wifes application for ILR. We live in London, and obviously Croydon is the logical place to go to apply in person. Should Croydon be fully booked, could we theoretically go to any of the other public enquiry offices in the UK?

Also, she has been out of the country for 5 weeks durine her two year qualifying period for holidays. Is that ok? Or will that be too much time spent outside the UK?

Thanks for your help.

ya any PEO can do your case. I would think 5 weeks is not a problem.
BTW your wife has spent 2 years living with you under dependent visa or of mixed types, for instance, student + dependent, etc

She is here on 2 year probationary visa (spouse of UK citizen). Thinking of applying about a week before probationary period end date (i.e. 7 days). That should be okay shouldn't it??

she can apply up to 28 days before the end of the 2 years starting from the date she entered the UK. dont let the visa expire though waiting for the 2 years to elapse
