ILR Query - Kid born in the UK

Post by ravi2326 » Tue Sep 01, 2020 1:55 am

Hi,
I have applied for ILR as a main applicant along with my wife (my dependent) as we both completed 5 years on Tier2 General. My son was born in the UK who is also my dependent at the moment with BRP expiring in 2021 April. I have not included my son in the ILR application as he is eligible for British passport after I get my ILR.
DO i have to provide any letters to UKBA on why I didnot include my son in the application or Should i just ignore?
Thanks

He’s not eligible for a British passport before he’s British. But he will be entitled to register immediately after a parent is granted ILR.

It’s okay to inform them of your intentions to register him, else they may worry and ask.
