ILR questions ... Does this happen to anybody?

I am applying for ILR (under 5 years WP) with my husband and 3 years old son next week. I was just wondering if anybody could help me with 4 varieties of following questions:

1. Does dependent previous immigration status affect ILR application? My husband is on my dependent from last 3 yrs and 10 months. But he was questioned about his previous immigration histroy in Heathrow last year.
Made us worried now

2. I also have 2 months & 19 days gap between 2 work permit. How caseworker look at this? I heard that it depends on why you left job/made redundent and its more relaxed if you are old WP holder rather than Tier 2?

2. Do we need original work-permit during ILR application? I only have photocopy and my employer only have photocopy (no original). I didn't see any requirement of workpermit in SET(O). Am I correct?

3. I am on Maternity leave now. I was on maternity leave before 2 years as well (including 3 months unpaid leave) with same employer. Does this affects my ILR application?

I am totally paranoid now ... closer the date, getting stressful ... Any suggestions would be relief
