ILR related quarry

Hi ,
my name is ashwani,i am in uk from last 4 years and 8 months on work permit .i worked only for one employer.very soon i am going to apply for permanent resident.there are 2 important questions in my mind......


1 .how many days before before should i get a letter from employer .

2 My visa date is 21 june,2006 and entry to uk is 4th july ,2006 .which date should i consider to apply for ILR before 28 days.

1. As close to the date of application as you can arrange for.
2. Under current rules, you may apply for settlement no earlier than 28 days before 5th anniversary of your entry in the UK (04-Jul-06) as a WP migrant.
