ILR Requirement for WP Dependant

hi

i have a question regarding the dependants of wp. Do they have to be living in UK for 2 years? As per my understanding wp dependants dont have to be in UK for 2 years, but i saw on some website that after 6th April the rule is that now wp dependants also have to complete 2 years.
Any coments please.

My wife joined my last april and my ILR wil be due in Oct, wil she be able to apply with me ?

If you are a WP migrant, then no (196D).
If you are a Tier 2 migrant, then yes (319E(d)).
