ILR or ROR or which visa ?

Hi All
My situation.I have been living here for last 5 years working in a reputed job and have all p45's.

I am spouse of EU national. Still not divorced but separated for past 4 years been married for 10 years. We have 2 kids and i am sharing there well being providing support to them.

I am not able to proof her self sufficiency for ILR, we don't have enough documents to prove that. Also not knowing we discontinued her CSI. For all of the above reasons I don't think i will be getting ILR.

My question is can i re-apply for ROR ,my visa extension for 5 more years ? do we still have to prove self sufficiency of my spouse going through ROR ? (which as i said before i don't have the documents such as invoices etc) or can i get the ILR or ROR y going through the fact that i support my kids and i am self sufficient person
Or is it still worth trying for ILR ?

What are other possible ways ? Please help
