Thanks to moderators and members of this forum for all you post and advice,i was granted ILR yesterday at PEO solihull,it was a pretty smooth and straight through process, the only question asked was if we had kids but i guess that was becos i included my daughters birth certificate other than that no other important question was asked..my appointment was at 10am yesterday 13/04/2011 but i left home arround 8am and got there at 9.05am after checkin in i was called 15mins later which was arround 9:20,case worker was friendly, first he asked for was our passport and my set (m) form and my life in uk test cert after checkin that he asked for my biometric card and documents to prove that we have been living together for 2yrs,i then gave him all the documents i arranged for the appointment though i had a bag full of documents he went through all of the once i gave him which was about 11 or 12 documents or so then he selected the once thats are important to him which are 2 NHS card one for me and my wife dated 2009,1 Bank statement dated 2009 , 2 HMRC leter for working and child tax credicts joint name dated 2010 and 2011,1 council tax leter joint name dated 2010,my child's birth cert,1 sky bill on my name dated 2011 and one water bill on wife's name dated 2011,he put them up together and said i will be back in 2mins,he left and came back in less than 2 mins and said everything is fine, i will be granting you indefinately leave to remain today go to counter 6 and pay and come back in an hour or 2 to collect your passport..we left and had breakfast ,an hour later we went back and my passport was ready with the ILR stamp...all in all peo solihull service are pretty fast and they are very friendly we left home 8am and got back home 11:30am...hope this is helpful to those who are still waitin for there appointment date...best wishes to you all..

Forwardever, Have you been living in UK for the last 3 years and married to British citizen, if so you can apply straight away. I can not give you guarantee either NCS or post is fast route, at the end both routes end up in huge waiting list . I sent mine through NCS 4 weeks ago and still has to be allocated to case worker. Any ways i have my passport with me that is the beauty of applying through NCS.

Initially my plans was also to travel to EU with my family on British passport but looks like I have to delay as HO has doubled the waiting time nor Naturalisation

You have to send your original passport with the naturalisation application if using postal route to check ILR entry ext dates etc. i will suggest you to contact local NCS and send it through them so at least you can keep your passport and join the waiting club. :)
