ILR SET(0) prcessing times - can progress be expedited?

Post by africanchild77 » Tue Nov 20, 2012 5:04 pm

Can anyone advise how long their SET (O) application took from the day it was sent off to the day it was received back with a successful outcome?

I sent mine off at the end of June and am still yet to recieve it back and was hoping to return to Africa at Christmas to attend two friends weddings and spend the time with family.

Next week will have been 5 months that they have had it for, and I am starting to get worried!

Is there anything that you can do to contact the UKBA on the progress of your application or has anyone contacted their MP to try and expedite the application?

Any advice/ information would be much appreicated!
