ILR SET(M) - Questions

Hi all, just a couple of questions please regarding my ILR SET M Application.

1. My leave expires on 17th of July 2020 as per my BRP, can I apply online and submit on 7th of July as I have my B1 booked for 27th of June and will have the certificate by then to upload? I am aware I can apply without and they can ask for it later but just want to do it when I have the certificate (I entered UK on 10th July 2015)

2. For online application, if I apply on 7th July, that will be considered my application date and nothing changes till I receive decision is that correct please?

3. Do I need to scan all pages of my passport as my current passport is empty since I got a new one only last year after renewing, but I have stamps on my previous passports from traveling to various countries?

4. My documents are as follows:

Passports for myself and my wife (British Citizen)

Financial documents (we both meet salary req so using my salary)

Named documents to address (individual &addressed to both) any specific amounts? Thought it was 6 in total - correct please if I’m wrong

Letter of employment - does it need to be dated within 28 days of my application date?

6 months bank statements - will online work as they are with official Barclay’s logo etc. ?

Any thing I am missing or these look good?

Apologies for asking another question as I have just been emailed that my English test has been moved from 27th June to 11th July in Leeds, I am Suffolk based(My visa expiry according to my BRP is 17th July 20).

Just for my clarity please, if I apply now without English test, and answer NO to the question asking for English test, do I need to attach a cover letter explaining my situation and the reason for why I wasn’t able to attach an English test certificate?

Also, will the case worker ask for the test certificate at a later date before making a decision or is it an automatic refusal because I was unable to provide the B1 certificate.

Any help will greatly be appreciated. Regards

Hi Zimba,

Just wanted to confirm a query again please, I have submitted my application today 22nd June and currently no appointments are available, the questions I have are as follows:

1. my BRP expiry is 17th July 20, and 5 year anniversary is 10th July this year, even if I don't get appointment will I be safe now as I have applied within the right time frame? (entered the country on 10th July 2015)

2. I am using 6 months payslips and bank statements starting Jan 20, the statement for June will be generated on 9th July, is it okay to use it once it's generated? or shall I use Dec19 till May 20 and get payslips for the same period as well. Also letter of emp. and these statements should be within 28 days of my application date i.e. 22nd June is that correct?
