ILR - Skilled Worker Route

Post by iamcooliamcool » Tue Apr 09, 2024 11:51 am

Hello Everyone,

Can you please help me with the below query.

I have full time job and currently working in the care home.

Please find the below my visa details.

COS issue date - 03/04/2023
Route - Skilled Worker (Care Home)
Application date - 06/04/2023
Visa Valid from - 14/04/2023
Visa Expiry Date - 28/05/2028

Can you please help me with the below points:-
* Can I apply for ILR at the end of my current visa?
* Is there any changes in rules which will effect my ILR application in 2028?
* Salary threshold for the ILR application in 2028?
* As per COS my job start date was 15/05/23 but my job actually started on 03/07/23, this will make any difference to my ILR application?

Thank you

You will become eligible within 28 days of completing your 5 years, counting from the first visa issue date. The start date of your employment is irrelevant. The rules may change in 2028 so no one can tell you what to expect in 2028 however recent rule changes have raised the threshold significantly for ILR.
