ILR Sole Trader earning evidance

Post by psdesai » Mon Apr 25, 2011 2:19 pm

Hi,

My friend being self employed (sole trader) would like to know what two forms of evidence do UKBA needs for earnings for self employed?

There are two options
Copy of Invoice (Given to the Client) + Bank statement
OR
Account's Letter + Bank statement#

OR Some other form of evidance
Please advise

Ask your friend to read the Tier 1 settlement guidance or the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance. Both the documents explain what self-employed applicants are required to submit as documentary evidence(s) of earnings. You'll note that Tier 1 settlement guidance suggests the same documents as are required at the time of Tier 1 (General) extension, so referring to either document should suffice.

Alternatively, search this forum where such information is abundantly available.

Thanks for your reply. I think that was helpful.
