ILR spouse allowed to work as a doctor in training?

Post by ilr_doc » Wed Jan 08, 2014 11:04 pm

Hello,

I am currently on a tier 2 (general) visa. I will be applying for ILR soon as I will be completing 5 years in this visa category shortly.

My wife came to the UK in 2009 as a student and from then changed to a tier 2 visa (general) of her own in 2010. She has been on her own tier 2 visa since.

I was hoping someone could help me with these queries:

1. Will she be able to apply with me for ILR as my spouse?

2. Will she be able to work as a doctor in training if she for a ILR spouse visa?

Many thanks in advance.
