ILR

Post by mambo » Fri Mar 06, 2009 2:25 am

I had to withdraw my application for ILR on 5 year continuous work permit holder because I did not make the application for FLR within 6 months after being granted a new work permit for my new employers. However, 2 months before my previous FLR expired, I applied for FLR extension and was granted by HO. I was very naive at the time and I know it was a silly mistake.

Now I am thinking of making application for ILR under 10 yr longstay. My question is:
1. can this affect my ILR application under this category( lawful continuous stay 10 years in UK)?
2. If I am granted, can my wife who has been dependent on my visa for 5 years in UK apply for ILR as a spouse of a person settled in UK?
