ILR - Tier 1 - Age Points

Post by tier1extension » Fri Jun 17, 2011 2:45 pm

I was awarded higher points for my age in my Tier 1 extension that my initial application.

So for my ILR application, will my age points be based on my age points on extension or my initial Tier 1 points?

thanks for your reply

but that was same rule as well when i applied for extension but anyhow the case worker gave me higher points for my age for extension

also it says in the website - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... ettlement/

"Points will be awarded in the same way as for as your previous grant of permision to stay under Tier 1 (General)." - does this mean the extension points?

Difficult to believe, but if you claim so then consider it as a result of inaccurate interpretation of the immigration rules by the caseworker or a result of his ignorance.

Refer to what the law states (33).
