ILR TIER1 - Leave to ENTER+Leave to REMAIN = 4 yrs 11 months

I am a Petroleum Engineer working in the UK under General Migrant Program Tier-1.

Recently I was going through my travel documents and noticed a discrepancy which I wanted to draw your attention towards and to get an advice. My Leave to Enter as Tier-1 General Migrant was issued on 4th August 2010 and was valid till 4th August 2012.

Myself together with my wife and two kids applied for Leave to Remain on 3rd July 2012 in Belfast PEO with a clear assumption / understanding that the visa will be granted for another three years starting from 4th August 2013 and will expire on 4th August 2015.

As I mentioned above; I was going through the passport and trying to organize the documents and calculating the absences from UK and I noticed that if I apply for my ILR on let us suppose the last day of my current leave i.e. 3rd July 2015 I will be 32 days short of the 5 years residence in the UK and the rule says you can apply up to 28 days in advance which means there is a shortcoming of 4 days.

Based on the scenario discussed above; I would not have had any such problem if the LTR had been issued till 4th of August 2015 because the LTE was expiring on 4th of August 2012.

Could anyone please assist and provide guidance on this matter as how can the current leave be corrected. In my personal opinion it wont be reasonable to spend up to 8 Thousand GBP for the FLR of our visasMy Self + 3 Dependents for a making up for four days only though the visa could have been granted till the 4th August 2015.

I am more worried because I have heard that LTR applications will not be allowed after April 2015.
