I will be applying for ILR under terms of HSMP JR at PEO later this month. I have been in employment for all of five years without gap. Unfortunately, there have been severe cutbacks where I work and I am losing my job this month end. When I apply for ILR, I would have this months payslip, however, the employment letter issued by HR will have a start and end date of this month end. They have declined to give a letter which says "currently employed". Would this be a problem for ILR to satisfy the economically active criteria? As such on that day, I would still be economically active in theory.
Is it acceptable to provide offer letter/employment contract instead of employment letter backed with payslips (this month + previous 3-6 months)?
