ILR - urgent need to travel overseas

My ILR date at PEO is 1st November with visa expiring on 21 nov. Is there any rule that prohibits me to make a trip to India in October? I am still within the permissible limit of 180 days in 5 years.

I made a trip in jan this year for a week and another last year for 30 days. I hope frequent trips are not a problem?

Cant help as its due to family health reasons.Will be grateful for your response.

Its absolutely fine, you are allowed to travel as long as you are within 180 days. If i were you i would make an appoitment also with the PEO sometime end of october so that i can apply as soon as i come back.

Thanks Rooney. The earliest date i got for nearby is 1st november. I wasnt sure of the restriction of number of trips one can make especially in the last year before ILR application.

There is no limitations to the number of trips you take as long as you do not go beyond 90 (single trip ) and 180in total rule.
