ILR 10 years Rule and Nationality Test (Life in the UK Tes)

Hi there

I wounder if someone can clarify few things. I know that the time spend under PSW counts towards your ILR under 10 years rule. But my question is

Q. If a person spends 8 years as a student and 2 years on PSW and then apply for ILR under 10 years category, will he/she has to go through the English nationality test (life in the UK test) (baring in mind that his all qualifications were in english)?

Q. Do we know what changes are coming with regards to 10 years ILR rule? any point based system?

Can you please explain in details if possible.

1. yes you need to appear for LIK test

Raj do you know how many questions you need to get right to get "PASS". If i buy LITUK book now will they be bringing out the new edition soon or what?

they haven't changed edition for long. Infact they have chenged it once till now. you need to get 18 out of 24
