An email to the HO with ur exact timelines should give you better answer..sjgul wrote:Dear,
I got my HSMP Approval in March 2006, VISA stamped in May 2006 and travelled to UK in June 2006.
As per Home Office directive; people joining the scheme before April 2006 can apply an ILR after 4 years? So, if I got the HSMP Approval Letter in March 2006; even though I got my VISA stamped in May 2006 and started my travel in May 2006; do I come in this category?
Many Thanks.

I would say, since you applied and received approval before April 2006 you will fall under 4 years category.Same happens this year when rules were about to change for PBS,people applied before 31March to escape rule to Master's Degree for Tier-1.Don't think your case will be any different from them (in terms of dates).sjgul wrote:Dear,
