If "I am from Scotland" means that you have a British passport then you have a right to live and work in any other EEA country, and that of course includes Germany.

So as regards :-
could i move in with my girlfriend learn german and find work????
-: no legal problem with you doing that.

If for some reason you don't have a British passport, or any other EEA passport, then the answer might well be different.
