Immigrating to Vancouver

Post by chriscja » Sun Jul 23, 2006 7:56 pm

Hey Guys... Im thinking about moving to Vancouver after I finish my degree at college (as I have family there & it looks great).

I was concerned as to whether people would accept me... be friendly and want to talk too me (that sort of thing) because im British. Is there much to do for young people there? like clubs and things?

Any info would be great :)

Thanks

Chris

Hi,

Im british, i moved to Vancouver 2 years ago on a working holiday visa. Met my boyfriend. I came back to england for a short period of time, but in 3 days i will be going out there again to be with my b/f.

Vancouver is fantastic! i love it. There are lots of things to do :) People are really friendly towards british people (for some reason hehe) You have the best of both worlds in BC because you have the city life and also the mass acres of open space, for hiking, biking, skiing, you name it you got it.

All i can say is if you dont love it, theres something wrong with you!
