Immigration advice - Previous Student Visa Issue

Post by avataar8 » Fri Jan 08, 2016 11:47 am

Hi,
I came to UK in 2008 on student visa. I did my NVQ in Health and Social care and applied for a Masters in Psychology. I could not complete the course because I got into serious health trouble. The Uni forced me to withdraw. I tried to switch visa to family on compassionate basis and applied on FLR (O). My application got rejected. I appealed but also faced with rejection.
I opted to return to my country before the 28 days delay to avoid overstaying. Here I am in my country. But as I was already with a spiritual group for the past 20 years, they are offering me to come as Minister of Religion. But their only fear is that my immigration history might play against me and against them as well.
I would be immensely grateful to you if you could advise me on this issue and how to apply and succeed without any mess.
Loads of anticipated thanks

Have you read through this official information to confirm whether you meet all the conditions?

Hi,
I do meet all the criteria listed. The sponsor is ready to sponsor me with a sponsorship certificate as they are eligible to do so. Their only concern is my immigration history. To be honest with you the Capita caseworker who was working on my file about my voluntary return, did tell me that I can apply any time I want because I was ok regarding the immigration rules. But how do I convince the sponsor? Please help

If you didn't overstay then you should be clear to apply. It's up to you to convince your sponsor of this.
