Access UK website.. do you need VAF4A?

Hi,

I'm a business owner looking to apply for my spouse visa. I hold more than £60,000 in cash savings (from dividends and salary), and receive £20,000 a year salary from a business that i'm a director off.

What would be the best way to fill out the Financial Requirement VAF4A?

Do i need to still show wages and company accounts or can i just show last 6 months wage slips with the cash savings?

As i'm aware it's a lot more work to start showing company accounts for the last 3 years etc.. and would rather like to keep the process simple.

I'm ready to apply and have everything else in order, just this is left and i was confused about the best way to do it.

If you have 6 months old savings of at least £62500 then it will be the simplest route to meet the financial requirement in comparison with self employment where an extensive range of documents are required.

So when I fill out the Appendix 2 of VAF4A Financial Requirement, Would I still include the information about my salary etc..? or would I just fill out the cash savings on its own?

What exact sections of the VAF4A should i fill in?

Say i had in the bank £70,000 6 months ago but now i've got £100,000.

In my spouse visa financial requirement VAF4A form... do i just declare the £70,000? or can i say i got £100,000 now??

As the form i've filled in, i've wrote the current balance of £100,000. if i'm required to say £70,000 how can i change this after i've filled in the application on the Access website?

Usually the application form ask about recent balance of savings which in your case will be £100000. But its caseworker who will go through the whole 6 months of bank statements to find out whether you kept on possessing at least £62500 from at least 6 months. In my view on additional info section of the form you can state the balance before 6 months too for the convenience of caseworker.

I've paid £3 and printed off the title deeds from the HM land registry website.

is this enough to show i'm owner of the property?

i'm glad, as it said certified copy but thats the copy i got from the HM Land Registry website. So I wasn't sure what I can do.

As i'm joint owner with my mother.. do i need to attach a letter from her to say its okay for my wife to stay in the house as shes joint owner? and her passport copy?

I think a letter from your mother would be good. My dad owns the house and he wrote and signed a letter which stated that he is happy to accommodate my husband and I.

Better to have it as the supporting document (when you upload) have a section for VAF II. It is repetitive but better to include as i have done this as well.

Yes, you will need that.

Also acquire a House Survey Report to be on the safe side.

I think appendix 2 form is incorporated in the new online form. I dont think we need to submit it abd they have also removed it from guidance website. Only applicable to north korea I think.

Also did someone notice their is a error in Appendix FM partner form on access uk website with regard to English test. It is asking for CEFR level B1 instead of A1?

I think now thats the only platform to apply for spouse visa from outside UK. No vaf4 website/service available.
